Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to help manage software and technology projects from planning through delivery. This role requires strong project coordination skills, the ability to work closely with engineering teams and customers, and a solid understanding of modern software development processes.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and using modern tools, including AI-powered tools, to improve team productivity, documentation, planning, and delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Delivery

• Assist in managing the end-to-end project lifecycle from requirement gathering to release.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Track progress across multiple concurrent projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Help ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
• Maintain clear visibility of project status, blockers, risks, and next steps.

2. Technical Collaboration & Execution Support

• Work closely with engineering, design, QA, and product teams to understand technical requirements, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Support technical discussions by documenting requirements, clarifying priorities, and aligning teams on execution.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business-friendly updates for customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure important considerations such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability are properly tracked during project execution.

3. Agile & Process Management

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure tasks are properly broken down, prioritized, estimated, and assigned.
• Maintain project plans, sprint boards, and reporting in tools like Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Identify process gaps and help improve team workflows, communication, and delivery efficiency.
• Promote structured documentation and organized execution across teams.

4. Risk, Dependency & Issue Management

• Identify risks, bottlenecks, blockers, and project dependencies early.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues before they impact timelines.
• Escalate critical issues in a timely and structured manner.
• Help manage change requests and scope changes with proper documentation and stakeholder alignment.
• Support smooth handling of production issues and urgent delivery challenges.

5. Stakeholder Communication & Customer Success

• Act as a key coordination point between customers, internal teams, and management.
• Provide regular and structured project updates on progress, risks, timelines, and outcomes.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and proactive follow-up.
• Understand customer goals and ensure project execution stays aligned with business expectations.
• Help improve customer satisfaction by ensuring transparency, timely updates, and reliable delivery.
• Identify communication gaps, expectation mismatches, or project concerns early and address them proactively.

6. QA, Release & Delivery Coordination

• Coordinate with QA and engineering teams to ensure testing and validation are properly planned and tracked.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, and go-live readiness.
• Help ensure delivery quality through proper follow-ups on bug tracking, testing status, and release checklists.

7. AI-Driven Productivity & Operational Excellence

• Leverage AI tools and latest AI-powered workflows to improve project execution, documentation, reporting, planning, and team productivity.
• Stay updated on modern AI tools, trends, and best practices that can enhance project management and team collaboration.
• Use AI to support meeting notes, summaries, requirement documentation, task refinement, reporting, risk tracking, and process optimization.
• Encourage efficient and practical use of AI tools across internal workflows where appropriate.
• Continuously explore ways to improve delivery operations using automation and AI-assisted processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, technical project management, software delivery, or a similar role.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, design, and customers.
• Familiarity with modern software products, app development workflows, and technical delivery processes.

• Basic to good understanding of:

  • Frontend and backend application development
  • APIs and system integrations
  • Cloud platforms and deployments
  • Software architecture concepts
  • AI-enabled applications and workflows
• Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Notion, or similar.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a structured and proactive manner.
• Experience working with distributed teams and international clients is a plus.
• Exposure to AI tools for productivity, documentation, reporting, or workflow improvement is highly preferred.
